FAQWhat insurance plans are accepted? Many plans are accepted at Scottsdale Adult Medicine, however, for the most current list of insurance companies, please call the office. Am I able to get same day appointments as an established patient? Although we do our very best to get established patients in quickly, we cannot guarantee same day appointments. If you wish to see the nurse practitioner, same day appointments are certainly more feasible than with the doctor. Can I just walk in and expect to be seen? We do not accept walk-ins. How quickly can I get an appointment if I am a new to the practice or if I require a complete physical? New patients and physicals take more of the provider’s time and therefore require longer appointments. Physicals and new patients are usually booked 3-4 weeks out for Dr. Hinchman. If you would like to get an appointment sooner, the nurse practitioner may have more availability. Will my care only be provided by Dr. Hinchman or Emily Seiden, NP or am I allowed to see both as needed? Both Dr. Hinchman and Emily share the patient load. Emily is in constant communication with Dr. Hinchman about each and every patient and if the patient chooses, they can see whichever one is available for their needs at that time. Will Dr. Hinchman see me in the hospital if I am admitted? Yes, Dr. Hinchman admits his own patients to Scottsdale Healthcare Shea and will follow them throughout their stay until discharge. |
