Dr. Glenn Hinchman, Scottsdale Adult Medicine

Glenn Hinchman MD



Born in Tucson, Dr. Glenn Hinchman is a true native of Arizona. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona with a Bachelors degree in Microbiology. From that point he moved to the Midwest for medical training where he attended the University of Iowa College of Medicine. Equipped with a medical degree and fond of warm weather, Dr. Hinchman returned to Arizona for residency training. He completed his training as Chief Resident at Scottsdale Healthcare Family Practice Residency Program.

Dr. Hinchman has been practicing medicine in Scottsdale since 1996 and is board certified with the American Academy of Family Practice. He is highly involved at both the Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn and Shea Hospital campuses. His activities at these hospitals include: teaching for the residency inpatient service, chairmanship of the Family Medicine Committee, and providing inpatient care.

Dr. Hinchman’s medical care is focused on the adult population - particularly the elderly. He keeps current with the latest evidence-based medicine and proudly networks with medical specialists throughout Scottsdale. His philosophy is centered on providing honest and forthright care with a warm touch. Dr. Hinchman strives to make each visit a pleasant experience from the moment patients check in to the completion of their visit.

Dr. Hinchman is married and has 3 active children. He likes to stay fit with triathlon training, enjoys warm beaches and spending time with his family. Unlike most of his colleagues, Dr. Hinchman has never set foot on a golf course.
